Windsor Castle

Hello everybody,

I hope that you all enjoyed your excursion to Windsor yesterday. You should be getting an idea of what British culture is all about by now.

Today I want you to write about your trip and your impressions of England so far. What was the most interesting thing you saw in Windsor and what have you learnt?

You can search on the internet for pictures to go with your posts or simply upload your own photos.

Don't forget to give your blog addresses to your friends and family back at home so that they can follow your progress.

Happy blogging!

A Splash of Colour...

Hello everybody.

Today I want you to add a bit of colour to your blogs. I think most of you know how to add photographs to your blogposts by now so there's no excuse! You could also think about the colours you've chosen for your blog page...do you like the look of it so far or are there things you would like to change?

If you go to customize, then 'layout' and click on 'fonts and colours', you can experiment with the different options available. Don't forget to save the new settings when you've finished.

Once you're happy with the appearance of your blog, you can begin to think about your next post. There's plenty to write about.....What do you think of England? How is it different from your own country? What do you miss about your home town? What advice would you give to someone who was coming to stay in England or study at Lines Summer School?

Maybe you have other ideas about what you want to write in your blog...whatever it is, try and find some relevant photos to post with your articles to make them look even more interesting.

Enjoy!

Your 2nd week at Queenswood

Hello everybody. I hope that you all enjoyed your weekend and feel refreshed for your 2nd week here at Queenswood.

I've been looking at your blogs over the weekend and there are some very talented bloggers amongst you! There are also some students who haven't yet completed last weeks tasks (so they will have a bit of catching up to do today).

Today I would like you to start working on a new post about your daily life here at Q. You can talk about your lessons, your sporting activities, new friends that you've made here or anything else you can think of. Imagine you're writing a letter to your friends at home.....what would you tell them?

Happy blogging!
